The Hillbilly Stringpickers is a Countryswing and Rockabilly trio which has been founded in 1998.

The band conveys the authentic feel and atmosphere of the music and has thrilled audiences and performances as the 1999 Terschelling Rock & Roll festival.

The overall style of the band comprises the following styles: Honky Tonk, Countryboogie, Hillbilly and Rockabilly.

Apart from their own work, the band also plays songs from artists as Hank Williams, Carl Perkins, Webb Pierce and contemporary artists like Wayne Hancock.

Solid and straight, like they play it in the fifties.

Their CD 'Go Honky Tonkin' with' was wel recieved as well in the Country & Western scene as in the Rockabilly scene.
From all over Euope people showed interest.
Invitations to perform followed from many festival all over Europe.
Besides the Dutch magazines, also American, Spanish, French, German and British magazines showed interest in the band.
